Hidden cameras are everywhere. You just do not know it. By the time you finish reading this article on hidden cameras, you will learn some tips about hidden cameras.
Hidden cameras are used more and more these days. They are used at airports, banks, malls, and at homes to protect your belongings and to protect the people that are in the establishment. When we go over this in the article we will find out why the hidden camera is the best thing to have in your home/business.
Hidden cameras are on continuously and records images in its field of vision which can be retrieved and seen on a computer t.v. monitor. This can happen at the same time as well as recorded telecasts are possible. The reason hidden cameras are used most times is for the security use.
The hidden cameras are connected to a monitor in the security cabin which is manned all the time. There are several cameras that are hooked onto the same monitor this makes hidden cameras very popular.
Hidden cameras are used at homes which are a small hidden camera or spy cam, or nanny cam. When you have someone watching your children or you have an elder being taken care of you want to make sure they are being taken care of the right way. It will record while you are gone when you come home you just put it in your computer or on the t.v. and know exactly what is going on in your home. They have found so many bad nanny’s by using this hidden camera so we do know that it works.
Hidden cameras use to be big so they were hard to hide. Now there so small they can be a little stuff animal eye, or a pen on your shirt. The lens is very important you have to keep it clear at all times. So have as small as you want it to be.
The cameras are being used every where now they are on traffic lights to catch people going over the speed limit. So now you have to be care full because now they have your picture.
The bad thing about hidden cameras is they are sometimes used for the wrong thing such as: When the camera is used in hotel rooms, bathrooms without the consent of the person and using for there own use. Many people think it is invasion of privacy.
Hidden cameras are bound by several legislations but you would have to check for your state. Hidden cameras are progressing and used all over the world for security and crime prevention.

What type of surveillance camera would be best suited for the entrance to my gated community?

Our gated community needs a surveillance camera. Our gate was hit and broken two times, but we have been unable to determine who did it (probably am impatient driver). If we had a camera that could capture video for 24-48 hours (and then recycle), we could determine who is responsible for future incidents. Since there is only one entrance to the community (besides climbing over fences), this would also be a deterrent to criminals entering the community. There is a light pole with electricity near the entrance to the community, so power and view plane issues are not a problem. We just need to be sure the resolution of the images is sufficient to capture faily good images (license plate numbers, etc). This is Altanta, so severe weather is also not an issue. Finally, we are a small gated community, so we cannot afford very expensive options. Reliable, inexpensive solutions are preferred over high cost, high-tech solutions.
