I have tried various Chinese PC DVR cards. Getting them to work really comes down to luck and how good the product actually is. Try the GeoVision DVR card as performs very well and offers many unique & robust features.
Just a note, most these DVR cards will not work on a PC with a VIA chipset mother board, you find these on cheaper PCs, especially with AMD processors.
You will also need a very good graphics card, aim for a miniumum NVidia compatible card with 128MB RAM
The 2 points above usually does the trick. And for now, stick with Windows XP operating systems and make sure you got Direct X 9 at least installed.
