I’m British and I think CCTV is the best. I think that having speakers on them is really good and the next stage should be to implant chips into peoples’ skin.

I’m doing a project on safety for my campus. If i wanted to install a camera at the entrance of a building, have it feed into a monitor in one of the rooms in the building and I wanted to send a live feed of the surveillance to another building less than a mile away, what equipment would I need? Thanks!

What problems does mass surveillance solve?

Blanket surveillance like CCTV systems, facial recognition software, telecommunication and vehicle tracking, the DNA database etc. etc. does nothing to stop criminals, terrorists, or ’social problems’ and it doesn’t make anybody feel any safer.
If it doens’t solve any of the problems it was brought in for, what exactly is it there for?
